Starbucks College Achievement Plan, Building a Bridge to a Better Future

“Anthony McAvoy, ceo, PT Sari Coffee Indonesia, with SCAP beneficiaries partners at the graduation ceremony in May 2025.”

In 2022, Starbucks Indonesia launched the Starbucks College Achievement Program (CAP) with the goal of providing partners (Starbucks employees) the opportunity to earn their bachelor’s degree in Pelita Harapan University. Through this initiative, partners can benefit 100% upfront tuition coverage for the university’s online bachelor’s degree program.

Starbucks always encourage partners to dream big, set their vision, and work toward aspirations that will open doors to a brighter, more promising future. Since its launch, 27 partners have joined the program, with 11 already graduating in May 2025 and achieving their academic goals. Starbucks Indonesia continues to grow this initiative, aiming to welcome three to five new partners into the program each year, investing in their growth today, for the opportunities of tomorrow.

At Starbucks, we believe that education is one of the most valuable investments our partners can make for themselves and investing in our partners is the most meaningful investment we can make as a company."" Randy Karman, head of human resources, PT Sari Coffee Indonesia.
